In January, GXO, one of the UK’s leading logistics providers approached us with an urgent warehouse clearance project. The challenge? Clear the site — within a tight end-of-month deadline.
What made this project stand out wasn’t just the deadline, but the scale of the operation. GXO’s site included:
• Over 1,500 Bays of Apex Pallet Racking
• More than 20,000 Beams
• 1,700 Frames
Our team quickly mobilised, deploying skilled operatives and carefully scheduled removal crews to carry out the full decommissioning. Thanks to close coordination and experience with large-scale removals, GSB delivered the project on time and within budget — helping GXO avoid potential penalties from the landlord.
But the biggest win? Sustainability.
Instead of scrapping the materials, we carefully dismantled and collected every component to be reused — a key part of our commitment to circular economy practices. This approach helped GXO prevent over 600 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, significantly contributing to their ESG and carbon reduction targets.
